Earlier this year I was able to create a banner for the podcast Alzabo Soup, featuring characters from Gene Wolfe’s Book of the Short Sun.

I had fun working on this! I had quite the enjoyable journey reading all of Gene Wolfe’s Solar Cycle throughout the past few years. I’ve done some work here and there with other moments throughout Gene Wolfe’s books and I plan to post them on this site eventually, when I feel they are at their best-appreciated stage. It’s such a visually-rich world that I feel many artists would enjoy illustrating these books. I hope to re-read the books throughout my life from time to time. There’s much to learn and see from these books.
